The advanced cyborg race of Cylons living secretly embedded among humans has a plot to wipe out the human race with a series of nuclear attacks, but things don't necessarily go as planned. Led by Brother Cavil (Dean Stockwell), the Cylons keep hitting obstacles in their genocidal conspiracy, not the least of which is the botched assassination attempt by Boomer (Grace Park) on human Commander Adama (Edward James Olmos), a shot led astray by Boomer's guilty conscience.
2. Battlestar Galactica: The Plan - worth watching? | Ars OpenForum
10 nov 2009 · It's not that great, but if you've been following the series you really should watch it. It was certainly worth putting on the Netflix queue.
Battlestar Galactica: The Plan has been out for a few weeks now, but I'm a bit hesitant to watch it. On the surface, it sounds good - tracking the events of BSG through the eyes of the Cylons. But after the BSG season 4 finale, I'm a bit gun shy, and I've moved on a bit.

4. Battlestar Galactica: The Plan Blu-ray Review - IGN
20 okt 2009 · Featuring the same strong dialogue, directing and acting as the series that begat it, Battlestar Galactica: The Plan delivers the overall level of quality.
Battlestar Galactica: The Plan is an unusual project as far as its conception goes. The (rightfully) incredibly acclaimed BSG of course came to an end earlier this year, but now we have this additional straight to Blu-ray/DVD project. The Plan is certainly not a sequel story, nor could it be referred to as a traditional prequel. Instead, it takes place parallel to events we saw on the series, specifically ranging from the original miniseries until the end of Season 2 (pre-New Caprica that is).

It seems like we just can’t seem to stop saying goodbye to Battlestar Galactica. Perhaps the defining science fiction show of my generation, BSG’s post-finale swan song has included a bevy of cast appearances, an issue of the complete series on DVD and Blu-Ray, a recent Bryan Singer-helmed feature film announcement, and now, an upcoming two-hour television movie event. Battlestar Galactica: The Plan takes viewers on a journey of the events that transpired two weeks before the Cylon colony attacks, and their subsequent war with the humans, all from the Cylons’ viewpoint. Compiled with a combination of new footage and key plot highlight clips over the course of the show’s run, The Plan is designed to be the ultimate retrospective with a different perspective.
